Midnight Sun

Pursue me
Like a race with the fading crimson,
and the orange streaks that flee before the day wakes

For a moment, the burning red giant mesmerizes your eyes
Before it wakes, run for me
And seize the fiery horizon
before i lose your gaze
Drift not

Pursue me
Like a fight against the flickering vermilion,
and the passionate wounds that heal before the midnight leaves

“Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn!” – Psalm 102:2

“Seek God while he’s here to be found,
pray to him while he’s close at hand.” – Isaiah 55:6
